Fee Policy
Purpose
At Edu Fun Nursery, we are committed to providing a high-quality early years education and care service. To ensure the smooth running of the nursery and its sustainability, we have established a clear and transparent fees policy.
Policy Statement
This policy outlines the structure, payment methods, and expectations for nursery fees to ensure mutual understanding and accountability between the nursery and parents/guardians.
Fee Structure
1. Registration Fee
• A non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child’s place at the nursery.
2. Tuition Fees
• Tuition fees are determined based on the number of sessions booked, either part-time or full-time, and whether attendance is term-time only or year-round.
• A detailed fee schedule will be provided upon enrollment.
3. Additional Fees
• Fees for extra services such as after-hours care, holiday camps, or additional sessions outside the agreed schedule will be communicated separately.
Payment Terms
1. Payment Schedule
• Fees must be paid monthly, termly, or annually in advance as per the agreed payment schedule.
• All payments must be completed by the first working day of the payment period.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or direct debit.
• Cash payments are also accepted.
3. Late Payments
• Payments not received by the due date will incur a late fee of 10%.
• Repeated late payments may result in a review of your child’s placement at the nursery.
Refunds and Adjustments
1. Absence and Holidays
• Fees are payable even if a child is absent due to illness or holidays, as their place is reserved.
2. Closure Days
• No refunds or adjustments will be made for scheduled nursery closure days (e.g., public holidays).
3. Withdrawal
• A written notice is required if parents decide to withdraw their child. Fees for the notice period will still apply.
Financial Support
Edu Fun Nursery is committed to inclusivity. Parents may inquire about available government schemes, grants, or subsidies that could assist with fees. The nursery will provide guidance on accessing these benefits.
Fee Review
The fee structure is reviewed annually to ensure it reflects the nursery’s operational needs and economic changes. Any updates will be communicated to parents with at least one term’s notice.
Non-Payment of Fees
• If fees remain unpaid after repeated reminders, the nursery reserves the right to suspend or terminate a child’s placement.
• Any outstanding fees will be pursued through legal channels, if necessary.
